The PS3 was today released in Japan, the first worldwide launches. The console which we can expect to be able to buy in March 2007 (well, hopefully) has sold out completely which has pleased Sony, however with only 100,000 consoles, it wasn't much of a challenge for the much awaited console. The question for me is weather or not the unnecessary neglect of Europe will effect the sales next March.

I highly doubt i'll be buying it. It's overrated. It may have the largest range of games in the future like the Ps2, but im not keen on the whole playstation series. If I have a bit more cash somehow next year, then i'll think about it. Wii all the way.

I think everybody would choose the 360 over the Ps3.
Actually, probably not, but I wish everybody would.

Sony said 400,000 PS3s will be available for the US launch on 17 November. Despite these shortages, Sony also reckons its capable of shipping six million PS3s by the end of March 2007.
