I prefer Marth as he is more powerful than Roy and more older, so in my opinion he has more experience and is more of a man. The tip of Marth's sword is the most powerful part of his blade, the hilt being the weakest part. For Roy's Sword, the most powerful part is the hilt, the tip being the weakest part. However, when you but Roy's hilt against Marth's tip, Marth wins. This is the same for if you compare Marth's hilt with Roy's tip. So overall marth is more powerful. Not to mention his great speed.

I’m not talking about super smash bros mêlée that really has nothing to do with the characters.

What's up with the "mêlée"? And anyway, I was comparing them to each other in Super Smash Bros Melee because: 1. It's the only game I have that includes both of them. 2. I made this poll based on the characters in SSBM and added other Nintendo characters so my opinion was based on their abilities within that game.

oh ok my bad its just in my opinion if you know nothing really about the proper characters you shouldn't bother commenting on them oh and by the way Marth's original name was lord Eilwood and though he was in the older games you didn't get to fight him and he was supposed to be an old man.
